I believe it to be from around 1955 ~ 1956 as I think these were the crossover years when an automatic was introduced and this case design was used. If this is the case I think it will also have the cal 501 in it. Its keeping great time so I don’t think there .
gatorcpa. It could also be an early rotor automatic, cal. 500 or 501, although more likely to be the bumper auto as Kyle and MSN say. The question is whether it is 14K or 18K gold. The hallmarks aren't sharp enough in the photos to see the Queen's head or squirrel hallmarks. Case looks pretty sharp to me, maybe just a surface polishing. Dial Design: Looks 1950s to me (Google, AJTT) What got me confused is that the serial number 14679575 on the movement dates back to 1954, but the caliber 490 movement was only created in the following year, 1955. However, the movement image in AJTT shows a caliber 490 having a serial number of 14563001, which seems to fit with what I have. This late 1950s Seamaster is in Excellent overall vintage condition. The asking price for this beautiful and fully serviced classic Omega Seamaster is 0 USD. This price includes fully insured FedEx shipping worldwide. From my own research I believe it is a 1950 Omega Seamaster with a 342 bumper - movement serial code 12xxxxxx, and case back serial 2576-12. The watch is in working order, winds up and ticks. I have found similar images to this watch model, however, the sub seconds dial on this Omega have each 10 second interval marked with Arabic numerals . Seamaster de Ville chronograph reference 145.005. Introduced in 1967, this reference aimed to offer a chronograph with a more dressy look compared to classic racing references. It alternatively features 'Seamaster' or 'Seamaster de Ville' on the dial, and is powered by Omega calibre 321. More on reference 145.005 here.
