A couple of times I thought I had scratched it, but it turned out to be metal streaks off the door handles I had hit - I removed those streaks by scrubbing my watch with an abrasive pad. Still looks brand new.

Fuelled by the manufacturers of course as they can justify a price increase and sell you a scratch proof bezel (which will shatter instead of dent). I love ceramic and the way it shines, its scratch resistance etc but there was never anything wrong with aluminium. You can remove the exterior AR coating (it also has interior AR coating) with Cape Cod, polywatch or any other similar chemical (acetone might do the trick); need to make sure to cover well the ceramic bezel to avoid it getting stained or damaged in the process (or if you have the right tool play safe and remove the bezel assembly). It drove me crazy and I removed the external layer of AR coating with a cape cod cloth.
