I have come to the conclusion after almost 30 years of wearing all kinds of fragrances that, for me at least, Givenchy Gentleman is the single most beautiful, fully realized men's fragrance ever produced. The reformulation is true if not to the letter of the original, then certainly to the spirit.
Gentleman (1974) by Givenchy is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Gentleman (1974) was launched in 1974. The nose behind this fragrance is Paul Leger. Top notes are Honey, Cinnamon, Rose, Tarragon, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Patchouli, Cedar, Orris Root and Jasmine; base notes are Patchouli, Leather, Civet, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Musk .
